The Deniz Tek Signature Guitar
Well it's been a long time coming, but the DT Signature is finally here.
Originally brainstormed by Art Godoy, and then picked up by local guitar designer Kieron Lomax, the guitar has become a focus of concerted effort here at Salvi's. The body is solid Mahogany with a set neck and Ebony fingerboard. There's carbon fibre in the neck for tone and strength, and it comes equipped with 3 Custom DT pickups designed and built by local guru Mick Brierley.
Deniz Tek Signature Guitar - Prototype
"This one carries on the legacy and takes it even further. The ultimate in playability, tone and power...After 20 years on the '64 Coronet it's like going from a Ferrari to a Rolls Royce!"
Deniz Tek.

Beautiful lines drawn up by local guitar designer Kieron Lomax.
I love this type of carve, and the Rickenbacker reference in the shape.
Action is a super loww 1mm on the treble side and 1.5mm on the bass.
Prototype #001.
I did this close carve set neck style in the hope of making it look kinda 60's. I hate the PRS easy fit look.
Custom made pickups, wound to Deniz' specs by Adelaide's own Pickup guru, Mick Brierly. Google him now!
Kieron did a great job designing this tribute to the Gibson Custom Made badge they used to use when they wanted to cover the tailpeice holes in guitars they were fitting Bigsby's too. He's put the Radio Birdman insignia on the ends instead of the stars Gibson had originally. Sweet as!
My own touch, my favourate volute style.
