Well, once upon time, the bigsby was the cutting edge of tremelo technology, yes, it's true. But over the years many more methods of loosening the strings for artistic purposes have come and gone, and come again...
The venerable Grandaddy of them all is the Bigsby. It comes in many guises, and from at least 3 countries of manufacture, but the one I want to talk about, or at least show you, is this one here with the annoying pins for lacing the strings. I hate those pins. I hate them so much I rip them out! Yes, it may sound reckless, but you'll thank me for it! Check it out!!
